Jan 01, 2013 · Now I'm using three E2500 dual-band routers, flashed with Tomato (Shibby 1.28 build 104, I think), running WDS on 5Ghz band with 40Mhz channel width. I was having problems with the 2.4Ghz routers, dropping speed randomly. When it worked, it worked fine, but it would sometimes drop to 5-6Mbit or less.
Anyway, I managed to pick up a Linksys E2500-AU for $45 (Broadcom BCM5357 chip rev 1 pkg 8), which isn't too shabby.
